Wow! This motorcyle belonged to my Father who was the owner of the St. Francis Wood Market on West Portal Avenue in the 1930s. I have a photo of the same motorcyle with my Fathers hired hand sitting in it. It was used to make deliveries throughout St. Francis Wood. I was looking for information about a foot race my Father told me he had with a man who told him he was a faster runner. That foot race, according to what my Father told me years ago, took place right down the middle of West Portal Avenue. I can't find a reference to it, but I keep trying. He told me that it was written up in the S.F. Chronicle or whatever the paper was in the 1930s. Anyhow, what a delight it was for me to see this old Indian.
