Perhaps my favorite Triumph out there. It's a Triumph TT Special with a later T140 5 speed 750 motor (yes, he has the matching number TT motor also). Vintage Bates desert racer seat, alloy wheels- Borani and akront. Honda forks with a Honda disc brake and machined Triumph triple trees. Lucas off road headlight with 1972 Bonneville headlight mouting system. Owner: Hank Kingon, San Francisco

Not too many pics from the show. To sum it up: Bought a alot, sold a little, met Barry from Storage Wars, saw Dick Mann, and piled a ridiculous amount of parts into the back of my lil' Toyota pick up.

Took a scoot to Alices Restaurant the other day. We had 4 BSA's and a Panhead. Damn fine ride and damn fine weather. Look for Sergio's valve inspection cap on the 280 freeway (classic).

Triumph T140 head gasket: Brand new, our friend Joe put 50 miles on it before it blew. Ripped right in half. Emgo brand
Pre unit oil pump: Genuine Triumph part. Lasted 57 years then quit.
Emgo coils: We've had a few failed emgo coils. 6 volt coils Installed with boyer set up

Painted a few tanks last weekend. They turned out pretty good and I had very few problems. The biggest one was I burned a whole in the Lighting paint job while cutting and polishing. Sometimes you gotta leave good enough alone.
