Saturday evening around 5pm we left San Francisco and rode to Cherry Lake in Yosemite. The lake was 25 miles off of the main highway on a paved trail that winds through the mountains. After climbing to 3700 ft we got to the lake around 11:30pm. There were a couple times that I wished I would have had Kodys KLR. My brakes started literally smoking after coming down one of the mountains. I also ran over a beach ball which didn't pop and felt like a big speed bump. It was weird to ride past so much in the dark, not seeing anything but what your headlight gives you and then waking up in the morning and seeing where you are and what you already past.
This is what a guy looks like when his Lucas magneto starts to crap out. Im currently installing a 'Bright Spark' which is pretty much the current update to the buried condenser problem.
My friend Mike lookin spiffy on his Triumph in Hawaii. Below it, a photo of what the bike used to look like. Muhalo
We're all moved into our new shop (next door to our old shop). We still have a lot of parts to organize and put away. Thanks to all of these people for the helping with the move; Dan, Will, Peter, Tim, Trevor, Dominic, Eric, and Micah.
