Well after all these years this shows up. The Lipp brothers worked for us back in the 60's, they were are layup and tank department heads at Sonic Plastics. We were the first large full scale manufacturing shop of motorcycle gas tanks, seats and fairings. Our shop was in Hayward California. One day we came to work and the Lipp brothers didn't, the rest is history. Lipp Plastics was in business! 2/12/2014 02:37:10 pm

I have a lipp plastics tank also, its on a Yamaha road racer from the late 60s early 70s, possibly for the popular td-1 model. are there still many in use? what about value? thanks gary Leave a Reply. |
