The bobber is officially dead! Stop running those stock tanks, take off those giant stock headlights, stop lacing up 16 inch rear wheels and stop polishing up those motors. Let that ol' girl leak a lil oil and mark her territorry. Show off that patina and the battle scars.

Shucks... guess I'll have to junk my bobber project or get snubbed. I can't keep up! Just when I thought my image thing was working out too. I sold my chopper years ago to fund my bobber and now it's reversed... again!!! But WTF, if I look the part maybe I'll be accepted again and hopefully maybe even considered semi-cool... and besides, used open face helmets, jackets and Converse are cheap! Tat's are getting kind of expensive tho. I could'a bought a few bikes if I didn't...fuck it, that's another story.

One minor issue I see is all these "choppers" look the same, kinda just like bobbers and stockers for that matter... not to mention I can't tell any of the current hipster guys riding them apart either! What with the beards, the under-sized plaid shirts, latest acceptable tats and all the rest! Will I lose my identity behind that urban mountain-man beard? Can I even grow one???

Shit, maybe I should get a Harley now, since eventually that's what everyone does anyway. Stock, bobbed or chopped, once you have a Harley you never go back and plus you can hang out at Sturges and always look down on and ignore anybody who doesn't have one too! That's the best part. Also, it'll take the guess work out of buying my uniform and knowing the proper hairdo etc in the future. That way I'll be accepted within the largest motorcycle contingency in the world no matter what!
